This policy explains what personal information Houdini Perfumes collects when you visit houdiniofficial.com or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. Houdini Perfumes is a company of HOUDINI OFFICIAL, based in Karachi, Pakistan.

What we collect

• Order details you give us at checkout: your name, mobile number, email address, city, delivery address and any note you add.
• What you order, the payment method you choose, and any promo code you use.
• Your email address if you join the Houdini letter.
• How the site is used: pages viewed, scents viewed, items added to the bag and time spent on the site. This is linked to a random visitor number stored in your browser, not to your name, unless you start checkout.

Card payments

Card payments are processed by Safepay on its own secure payment page. Your card number, expiry date and security code are entered on Safepay, never on houdiniofficial.com, and we never see or store them. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed.

How we use your information

• To confirm, pack, deliver and support your order, including calling or messaging you on WhatsApp about it.
• To process payments and refunds.
• If you started checkout but did not finish, to remind you once about the items left in your bag.
• To send the Houdini letter, only if you asked for it. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.
• To understand which pages and scents people like, so we can improve the store.
• To prevent fraud and meet legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share only what is needed with:

• Our courier partners, who need your name, number and address to deliver.
• Safepay, for card payments.
• The services that host the store and send order emails for us.
• PostHog, which shows us how the store is used, and Sentry, which reports errors on the site. Both receive page activity linked to the random visitor number. What you type at checkout is masked before it reaches them.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Cookies and browser storage

The site stores your bag and a random visitor number in your browser so your bag is still there when you come back. PostHog also keeps a small entry there so one visit is counted once. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for delivery, returns, accounting and tax purposes. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing messages, by contacting us using the details below. We reply within 7 working days.
